Junior Champions Leadership Program

What is Junior Champions Leadership Program?

The Junior Champions Leadership Program was designed by Master Ace Ramirez for students committed to the goal of black belt. By the rank of orange belt a student should make the commitment to black belt and join the Junior Champions Leadership Program. We predict that over 90 percent of our students will be Leadership members or Black Belt Club graduates.

Who can qualify for the Junior Champions Leadership Program?

To qualify, a student must complete at minimum achieve orange belt or above in the Junior Champions Basic Program and have Master Ace Ramirez’ approval.

How do I get recommended?

To qualify for advance training beyond your trial year, you must:

1. Have set the goal of black belt.


2. Have regular belt exam participation.


3. Super attitude in martial arts classes and outside of class.


4. Demonstrate the qualities of Black Belt Excellence in and out of the school.


5. Be consistent in their attendance and make up any missed classes.


6. Support school functions.


7. Be current with tuition payments.


8. Have exemplary academic grades and maintain positive progress reports.


9. Practice at home!

"Good Leadership Programs can be difficult to find. Unless you know someone who’s already been in the program (and there are programs out there that claim to be a Leadership Program, but aren’t), you may have to spend money to find out that you’re not getting what you paid for.  I am always looking for ways to give my children the best education and experiences available.  So, when I heard that IM Sports was starting a Leadership Program, I was excited, but cautious.  Master Ramirez allowed my sons to partake in a class to see if I felt it was worth it.

   Teaching leadership abilities takes a lot of skill, and even more so to kids.  Master Ramirez has the skills to teach both young and old.  Time will tell how well the kids are trained to be leaders, but if the martial arts program is any indication, there is no doubt in my mind that my children will learn a lot and continue to advance in their leadership skills.  My children have already demonstrated good skills and knowledge from their martial arts program at the school, and now I ‘m excited to see them practice what they learn from the Leadership Program."
