Happy Birthday Master Ace!

Today, June 4th Master Ace Ramirez turns 37. He celebrates over 2 and a half decades of training in the martial arts and attributes it to his passion for life and learning. "we shouldn't think of getting older, just wiser". Although he is not as old as Yoda, he is definitely the mentor and always is watching who he can help as well as learn from. "No matter how old we get, nothing should stop us from learning something new. Without training we die, the pain we feel after training proves we are alive". So don't let excuses stop you from doing what you love, so on your next birthday, what will you wish for?

Erik Paulson MMA Seminar

Master Ace would like to thank Sensei Erik Paulson for teaching such a wonderful and informative MMA seminar this past Sunday at the Bergenfield. He covered, Striking Drills, conditioning and of course some slick submission grappling techniques and progressions. Sensei Erik is Master Ramirez' teacher and was happy to be working with our guys again. If you did not get a chance to attend this Seminar, please make sure not to miss the next appearance since he does not often get a chance to fly to the North East. He is currently training Brock Lesnar for his next fight with Frank Mir for the UFC Heavyweight Championship and Josh Barnett for his chance at the Heavyweight title in the Affliction Fight Series. Good luck to him, Tonya and al his fighters in their future efforts! I also want to thank you all the people who attended on such a difficult weekend with NAGA and family obligations during the holidays. Training is our lifestyle, so ask yourself..."What your style?"

Formula for success

Last night I attended a meeting of business owners regarding the new "Government Stimulus Package" being offered. Everyone was unsettled since recent times had put many us and our peers into uncomfortable situations. We were all looking for answer to problems not unique o us. There was a panel of speakers that each presented about specific material and a few of them had mentioned things, that I believe, would have benefited our members and their families. I have had the idea for some time now to offer certain PREMIERE PROGRAMS to our students that not only go beyond our superior martial arts curriculums, by way of offering specialized and advanced training systems, but also inject the member with information such as personal and business finance education by guest speakers, learning materials such as books and online videos, access to "gurus" on subjects from social training and meditation, personal coaching to leadership training. To continue with the story please click the following to go to Master Ramirez' blog... http://krutraining.blogspot.com/

Student Referral Rewards

January has been great for all of those taking action in the New Year and really keeping up with consistency in their training. The weather has been cold and miserable, but at the school has been warm among its members! I have been noticing that many of our new members have been making it VERY comfortable for their transition into KRU TRAINING by taking their introductory lessons with friends or inviting family to try out our programs right after they join so they can also experience the benefits martial arts and fitness can provide. For those that have not been around this month, PLEASE be reminded that FOR A LIMITED TIME, if you refer a friend to join the school (JANUARY ONLY) you will receive ONE FREE MONTH for EVERY PERSON who registers for our basic year program. To be clear, for example, that means if in January you refer 3 friends and they all register in hte month of January, YOU GET THREE MONTHS FREE! There is no limit. For those that just joined recently, we will give you this offer for 30 days after you registered to give you enough time. YOU STILL HAVE A CHANCE in February, however you will get a FREE month after you refer TWO friends to register in that month. So you double your REWARDS if you act now in January. If you need any help in scheduling your friends, please contact the school at 201-387-1811. **PLEASE NOTE, DO NOT just bring your friends to class! Just like your first time, you m,ust reserve a class IN ADVANCE and guests must arrive on reserved day 30 MINUTES PRIOR to class for trial registration and equipment orientation.
